TMJP BPO Services Inc. opened 2026 with a strong message of unity, growth, and shared purpose during its Q1 Town Hall. Bringing together all seven lines of business (LOBs) and the corporate support team, the event highlighted a simple but powerful message that while each team plays a distinct role, success at TMJP is built on collective effort.
More than a routine company update, TMJP’s town hall meetings serve as a platform to recognize contributions, celebrate milestones, and reinforce the company’s direction for the months ahead. Here’s what happened for this year’s town hall for the first quarter.
Despite being away from the Philippines, TMJP President Ms. Mina Tsuchiya made time to deliver her opening message, warmly welcoming new team members and congratulating the organization for securing new projects early in the year.
She emphasized that while the first quarter has concluded, the year is still full of opportunities to achieve the company’s goals.
This outlook was echoed in the financial report presented by TMJP’s financial manager during the session. While performance in the first two months showed modest results, March saw a significant improvement, demonstrating the impact of focused effort and teamwork. With this upward momentum, TMJP remains confident in its ability to meet its 2026 targets.
The first quarter saw positive developments across all LOBs, from new hires to new projects.
The Security & Quality Assurance (SQA) team strengthened its capabilities by implementing an advanced automated scanning tool used by international companies based in Japan. At the same time, they maintained consistent success in delivering for a major IT and security client, while onboarding a new team member ready to contribute.
The Japanese-English Marketing Team launched new campaigns and supported product promotions throughout the quarter. They also celebrated employee milestones, recognizing team members who marked their work anniversaries. Despite operational challenges such as rising transportation costs, the team sustained strong performance and engagement.
Back Office Shared Services (BOS) continued to play a vital role in revenue generation. While one project concluded at the end of the quarter, the team quickly secured a new engagement in March and is preparing to launch another as a demonstration of the team’s agility and continuity.
The Outbound Sales Team expanded its workforce and saw immediate results. Newly onboarded members have already contributed to improving lead conversion rates, further strengthening client outcomes.
Meanwhile, the Online English Lessons (OEL) Department maintained its reputation for excellence. In addition to developing new business English training materials, the team delivered outstanding performance metrics, including perfect attendance, high compliance scores, strong customer satisfaction, and zero transferred lessons. Positive feedback from professionals enrolled in the BEX Pro program further underscored their impact.
On TMJP’s IT front, both the Web & App Development (WAD) and Web & Multimedia Design (WMD) teams continued to drive innovation. WAD is currently managing multiple projects, including a hybrid chatbot solution that integrates traditional and generative AI, with another project set to begin soon. WMD, meanwhile, balanced ongoing creative and web development work while preparing for upcoming projects in the pipeline.
With these developments, 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for digital transformation at TMJP.
Supporting these achievements is TMJP’s corporate support team, whose initiatives continue to strengthen the organization from within.
The HR team continues the Leadership Foundation Training, aimed at developing both current and future leaders. They also launched the Elite Circle Awards, recognizing top-performing employees across all teams based on key performance indicators.
This quarter’s awardees, also the first ones to receive the award, are Glenn (WAD), Migs (WMD), Karen (EN/JP Marketing), Mark (BOS), Bea (Outbound Sales), Apple (OEL), and Remy and JM (SQA).
In addition, employees celebrating five or more years with the company were honored with commemorative awards, recognizing their long-term dedication and contribution to TMJP’s growth.
One of the highlights of the event was the message from TMJP’s Senior Operations Manager, who marked his 10th year with the company. Drawing from his experience as a hobby cyclist, he compared TMJP’s journey to an early morning ride where effort, direction, and teamwork determine success.
He emphasized that while momentum has carried the company forward, achieving long-term goals requires clear direction, defined checkpoints, and trust among team members.
Using the concept of “drafting” in cycling, he highlighted the importance of collaboration by taking turns leading, supporting one another through challenges, and moving forward together.
“The sunrise is already ahead of us,” he shared. “We just have to keep pedaling.”
The Q1 Town Hall closed with a clear message from TMJP’s senior operations manager and operations manager that points to a reminder to everyone that success is not about perfection, but about consistent contribution, alignment, and teamwork.
With strong momentum, a clear strategy, and a unified team, TMJP is well-positioned to achieve its goals for 2026. As the company continues its journey, it remains certain that progress will be driven not by individual effort alone, but by the strength of the team as a whole.
