TMJP BPO Q2 2026 Town Hall: Spotlight on Japanese Philosophies and Filipino Dedication

Collaboration That Bridges Cultures

Staying true to Lean principles and leading by example, TMJP BPO Services Inc. held its Q2 2026 Town Hall with most employees participating virtually from different locations. The online format demonstrated that meaningful collaboration is not limited by distance. Instead, it reflected the company’s commitment to operational efficiency while ensuring that every team member remained connected and engaged.

More than a quarterly business update, the Town Hall celebrated the people behind TMJP’s continued success. It highlighted how collaboration among employees, leaders, and business units is guided by timeless Japanese philosophies that have become part of TMJP’s culture.

During the opening message of Ms. Mina Tsuchiya and the closing remarks of Mr. Hirotaka Nikaido, they expressed their gratitude to every employee for their dedication, resilience, and passion despite today’s business challenges. Nikaido-san also encouraged everyone to remember that whenever uncertainty arises, looking back at how far they have already come is often the greatest source of confidence to move forward.

Japanese Philosophies and Filipino Dedication in Action

Each line of business showcased not only its accomplishments during the second quarter but also how these Japanese philosophies, along with their dedication, naturally shaped the way their teams worked.

The Security and Quality Assurance (SQA) team shared updates on their ongoing projects with two clients, introduced their newly launched Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) tool, and welcomed a new team member who embodied Shoshin (初心), or the beginner’s mind. By approaching every challenge with curiosity and a willingness to learn, the team demonstrated how continuous growth begins with humility.

The SMOJ Japanese Online Marketing Team reflected on its journey since its formation in 2019 while presenting the campaigns and product updates delivered throughout Q2 2026. Their presentation reminded everyone of the importance of Ichigo Ichie (一期一会)—treasuring every encounter and recognizing that every shared experience contributes to the team’s collective journey. The ESQ Sales Team echoed the same spirit by expressing appreciation for the relationships they have built and the daily opportunities to serve clients with excellence.

The Online English Lessons department demonstrated the value of Kaizen (改善) through meaningful improvements to its lesson reports, readability, and monitoring processes based on feedback from both tutors and students. The team also celebrated successful trial lessons conducted for Trip.com employees, reflecting its commitment to continuously improving the learning experience.

Likewise, the Web and Multimedia Design (WMD) team showcased how continuous improvement drives every project they undertake. From enhancing website content and page performance to launching client websites and publishing digital advertising materials, the team consistently sought opportunities to deliver greater value. Alongside client projects, they also continued improving TMJP’s own website to strengthen the company’s digital presence.

Among all the presentations, HoRenSo (報連相)—the practice of reporting (hokoku), informing (renraku), and consulting (sodan)—was especially evident in the accomplishments of the Back Office Shared Services (BOS) and Web and Application Development (WAD) teams.

Despite simultaneously managing five major projects, the BOS team consistently delivered client requests accurately and on schedule through effective communication and close coordination. Similarly, the WAD team successfully completed 124 deliverables for six different clients during the second quarter while collaborating remotely across multiple projects. Their achievements reflected how transparent communication and mutual support enable teams to perform at their highest level, regardless of complexity or distance.

Lean Operations and Investing in People

The Town Hall also provided updates from the Human Resources team regarding ongoing renovations at TMJP’s office in AT Yuchengco Centre, Bonifacio Global City. The renovation reflects TMJP’s continued commitment to Lean operations by creating a workplace that supports both efficiency and employee well-being.

Complementing this initiative is the company’s flexible remote work arrangement, which allows employees to maintain productivity while enjoying a healthier work-life balance.

HR also introduced “Communicate to Lead,” a new employee development program designed for aspiring leaders as well as current leaders who are committed to continuous learning. The program reinforces TMJP’s belief that leadership begins with effective communication, collaboration, and a mindset of continuous improvement.

Every Ending Opens the Door to a New Beginning

One of the most heartfelt moments of the Town Hall came during the farewell message delivered by Operations Manager Allan-san to the Japanese Online Marketing Team.

He reflected on the team’s journey—from overcoming the uncertainties of the pandemic to finally reuniting in the office and creating meaningful memories together beyond work. He also celebrated the team’s remarkable achievements, including earning a customer service award and expanding its services from a voice account to non-voice operations, back-office support, and an FAQ team.

While acknowledging that the account had reached its conclusion, Allan-san reminded everyone that the end of a project never defines a person’s value. The skills, dedication, relationships, and experiences built throughout the journey remain and become the foundation for future opportunities.

Looking Ahead Together

In our rapidly changing business environment, resilience, adaptability, and continuous improvement are more important than ever. TMJP’s Q2 2026 Town Hall served as a reminder that while projects may come to an end, the values that unite people continue to move the organization forward.

By embracing HoRenSo, Kaizen, Shoshin, and Ichigo Ichie, TMJP continues to strengthen the partnership between Japanese management philosophies and Filipino dedication. Together, these shared values inspire teams to collaborate with purpose, overcome challenges with confidence, and create meaningful impact for clients and one another.

As one chapter closes, another begins—and TMJP looks forward to continuing its journey of growth, innovation, and service together.
